We are Skip and Lisa Schurman. Our business started out purchasing a piece of property with a great location, the first building on the infamous Kancamagus Highway. Seeing the insane amount of motorcycles that crossed over the intersection of Rte 112 and Rte 3, Skip, a licensed contractor and bona fide motor head, had the idea that a quaint little motorcycle shop would make a nice little addition to the town of N. Woodstock. After a major renovation, Screamin’ Skip’s officially opened in May of 2006. In the beginning, Lisa had no idea that this would become her full-time occupation. We started with an empty retail space, unlimited ideas and putting one foot in front of the other. A former hairstylist with a flair for retail and customer service, Lisa continues to love the new learning experiences that co-owning a small business brings.
We wanted a ” mom and pop” feel. Now in the start of our fourth season, our combined goal is to continually provide top notch customer service. We have met so many interesing people on this new journey. Each year continues to bring something new and exciting. Our goal is to grow our business without losing the quaint feeling that customers tell us that they experience when they walk through our doors. We truly appreciate our customers who have continued to support us from day one and we look forward to meeting many more!
